Spring 2012 Beauty Trend | Bright Fingernail Polish

Fashion for Spring 2012 is all about bright colors to liven up your look and spirit, and we aren’t just talking about clothes! Bright fingernails are super trendy for the upcoming season, and it’s not only a trend that anyone can pull off, but one that anyone can afford!
One reason that many beauty companies have managed to strive through this recession is the fact that while women were lower on cash, they still needed to feel and look beautiful. What better and easier way than painting your nails?!

One of the biggest clothing trends for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 seasons is bright colors. Whether it be a bright shirt with white pants, a black shirt with bright pants, a richly colored dress, or just the addition of brightly colored accessories, brights are everywhere. The nails are going to be no exception!

OPI is my favorite nail polish brand. Not only does their polish last a long time, it goes on easily and evenly and they are constantly coming out with fantastic colors! Even before the rising of the bright trend for this year, OPI knew that some women just love bright nails! They have had their “Brights” collection for years, and it just keeps getting better and better. My favorite colors from the “Brights” collection for this Spring are Dating A Royal, That’s Hot Pink, and Purple With A Purpose.

Another great fingernail polish brand is Essie. They have some awesome bright colors for you to try out this Spring and Summer, too! Meet Me At Sunset is a great, deep orange that would look good on just about any skin color. Not up for trying orange nails? Super Bossa Nova is a great shade of fuchsia. Go Overboard is an amazing teal hue that is likely to be very popular this year, too! Essie recently began selling their polish at Target and Walmart, so you don’t have to go to a salon or large department store for this great brand!

A popular nail trend that’s gaining stream is the “ombre” look. This is basically where you just paint each fingernail a different shade from the same color family. Some fashionistas, like Blake Lively for instance, have even been painting one nail from each hand a different color than the other four.
